Insurance and Rates

Payment Methods

We accept cash, checks, and all major debit and credit cards, including Health Savings Account (HSA) cards.

A credit card is required to be kept on file prior to your first appointment, even if you plan to pay by cash or check. Unless alternate payment arrangements have been made, the card on file will be charged at the conclusion of each session for any balance due, including amounts not covered by insurance.

Insurances Accepted

We accept most insurance plans. If you choose to use your health insurance, fees will be determined by your individual benefit plan, and applicable co‑pays, co‑insurance, and deductibles may vary. As a courtesy, we will verify your insurance benefits prior to your first session. If your plan requires out‑of‑pocket payment, you will be charged the contracted rate determined by your insurance carrier. Co‑pays, co‑insurance, and self‑pay fees are due at the time of service.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care may cost. You can request a Good Faith Estimate at any time before scheduling a session, and I will provide this estimate in writing with the expected costs of services based on the information available at that time. Please note that a Good Faith Estimate is not a contract and does not guarantee the final cost of care; your actual charges may be different if your needs, frequency of sessions, or treatment plan change. If your bill is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may be able to dispute the charge. If you have any questions or would like a Good Faith Estimate, please let me know—I’m happy to help you understand the financial side of your care.
